Media entrepreneur Arinaitwe Rugyendo has been appointed as the Board Chairman of Jada Coffee Limited.
Mr Rugyendo who has become the first person to hold such a position at Jada Coffee, will be working to ensure that the company steps into the future in terms of growth.
Commenting about his new role, the Red pepper newspaper proprietor said, “Ugandan coffee is the new gold here and abroad. We must promote it to ensure that 65% of our subsistence farmers join the money economy. Coffee is easy to grow and there is no reason why we can’t massively cash in.”
“We will take Jada Coffee to the boardrooms here and abroad,” he added.
