Joseph Kabuleta, the lead preacher of Watchman Ministries and avowed follower of Zoe Ministries’ Prophet Elvis Mbonye, has been reportedly arrested.
Social media is awash with reports that Mr Kabuleta, was picked on Friday evening from Drew & Jacs Lugogo’s Forest Mall by a vehicle whose number plate read UBB 459D. Drew & Jacs is Kampala’s coffee shop & restaurant that blends in a patisserie to offer you your best meal & dessert.
“We don’t know where he has been taken but anyone who knows the owner or sees it (the car), please inform us. ReturnJK”, Nim Andre posted.
In his Facebook blog post called Weekly Rants, Kabuleta wrote about First Son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who he says will never be the President of Uganda.
The blog post attracted a number of reactions including criticism from people who believe Kabuleta was unfair to Mr Kainerugaba.
However, Kabuleta responded, “It’s nice to see that Muhoozi’s bevy of well-paid promoters are finally earning their dimes. They must be on a mega payroll to believe that someone as dull and lifeless as him can be president. Museveni would have to put us all to sleep before that happens. Mutubalemu ku magezi.”
Sources have intimated to Watchdog that Kabuleta will be charged with offensive communication/cyber harassment.
The former New Vision scribe is not the first person slapped with this charge. University don Stella Nyanzi is battling similar charges and wasting away in Luzira prison.
Last month, Kabuleta told a follower who expressed concern over his posts that; “When your fear God, like I do, and are subject to Him, like I am, you find that you have nothing else to fear. Prov 28:1 “The wicked flee when no one pursues them but the righteous are as bold as a lion”
