Dr. Catherine Agaba, a medical doctor with International Hospital Kampala (IHK)  who has been missing since last weekend, requested for leave before disappearing.

Dr Agaba, a member of Uganda Medical Association, had applied for an annual leave from her bosses on Tuesday April 9, according to IHK management.

That was the last day they heard from her.

“We appeal to anyone who has any useful information regarding her disappearance or whereabouts to report to IHK Human Resource Office or the nearest Police Station,” a statement from IHK reads.

Agaba first practiced at Nsambya Hospital from October 2016 to October 2017, before moving to IHK. She is a graduate of Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).

According to posters announcing her disappearance on April 13, Dr Agaba is 5’4”, brown and weighs about 42 kilogrammes.
