Heads up! Kampala Rolex Festival season two is back again and its scheduled to take place on 20th August, 2017 at Uganda Museum.

The inaugural Festival was held 21st August, 2016 at the Uganda Museum, attracting hundreds of revelers and tourists who attended the event to celebrate the food culture in Uganda.

Last year, state Minister for tourism Godfrey Kiwanda officially launched rolex as a tourism attraction .

Internationally, the Ugandan Rolex made headlines on CNN, CCTV and BBC as a street food celebrated in Uganda for its empowerment to many communities through “feeding them” and providing income generating opportunities.

“The Rolex Festival Season II competition and activities will run under a theme; “Street smart” for a period of 3 months under different abstract phases”, revealed Enid Mirembe, Miss Tourism 2015/16 and CEO Rolex Festival.

This year’s edition will headline several activities such as live band, face painting, artist performance, play station, bouncing castle, rolex cooking competition among others.
