New Alebtong Deputy RDC promises to coordinate locals to embrace gov’t programs

New Alebtong Deputy Resident District Commissioner (D/RDC) Stephen Odongo has promised to to work hard and coordinate locals to embrace government programs that will help them eradicate poverty from the district.

Mr Odongo made the pledge on Friday while assuming office as the new D/RDC. He was welcomed by the senior RDC Robert Adiama among other district officials.

Mr Odongo thanked President Yoweri Museveni Museveni for entrusting him with the responsibility as his representative in Alebtong.

He also drew alot of emphasis on community coordination.

“I’m ready to work and do my best for better results in all areas of operations. I call upon Alebtong residents especially the youth to embrace government programs like Parish Development Model. This will help us to eradicate poverty and improve our standards of living,”Mr Odongo urged.

“I once again thank and appreciate His Excellency the President for his love and effort he has rendered to the nation. He is one of the most and committed leaders the nation and the whole Africa should be proud of.”

Mr Adiama who first witnessed Mr Odongo’s competence during the last presidential campaigns in Teso, described his deputy as a hardworking  and discplined Cadre.
