Do you want to get ‘wild in the wild’?

Well, if you missed the past two editions, here is a chance to enjoy two days of fun-filled experience at the third edition of Cocktails In The Wild.

This year’s edition, announced by Smirnoff Uganda in collaboration with Universal Music Group and Uganda Wildlife Authority, will be held in Lake Mburo National Park, Western Uganda on December 7 and 8, 2019.

UWA has provided five of its tour buses to transport revellers to the national park for the party experience.

According to organisers, just like the previous editions, revellers will be given a chance to party in the wild and groove to lots of music and entertainment, while enjoying an outdoor cocktail festival filled with Uganda Waragi, Captain Morgan and Smirnoff pop-up bars.

DJs Spinall and Da Capo have been confirmed as headline acts by Universal Music Group, an American global music corporation that is implementing the experience in other African countries such Nigeria and South Africa.

DJ Spinall is a multiple award-winning deejay and Smirnoff Brand Ambassador from Nigeria while Da Capo, is a South African DJ producer ‘with impressionable dancefloor rhythms’ who also just won Africa DJ of the Year Award on the global stage.

Uganda will be represented by among other DJ Naselow.

Also, as a way of promoting responsible drinking, the organisers have also created an outdoor food area to create a cosy space where partiers can enjoy their favorite food of choice while they drink.

Speaking on behalf of Smirnoff Uganda, Agaba Tumusiime remarked, “I am delighted to see Cocktails in the Wild return for its third edition. This will be our biggest and most exciting experience yet. Since launching with Uganda Waragi in 2016, we have continued to grow the festival experience by adding new features like the pop-up bars along the route to our party destination.”

He also added that the support of the property’s new partners would go a long way in attracting new party and cocktail lovers to participate, growing domestic tourism.

Another exciting addition to this years’ experience is the cocktail stop-overs at different sites along the route to Lake Mburo. This is the first time pop-up bars will appear at these sites, offering partiers a unique opportunity to enjoy their cocktails on the move.

Tickets are now on sale at only Shs250,000 for the full weekend package catering for transport to the party destination and back, accommodation and a meal on arrival. Revellers that prefer to lodge at the park’s eco-friendly cottages shall pay Shs200,000 to cater for their transport to Lake Mburo, a meal and cocktails.
