The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President, Eng, Moses Magogo led a strong delegation to the Royal Palace of the King of Toro Kingdom, His Majesty Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV in Fort Portal on Friday.

The visit is intended to further strengthen and consolidate the historical strong binding ties between FUFA and Toro Kingdom as regards football development.

The two parties exchanged great footballing ideas in the course of the visit as his majesty the King committed to supporting all the football development programmes and FUFA activities within his kingdom.

Flanked by the FUFA Executive committee member Ronnie Kalema who is also the vice President of the FUFA Drum local organizing committee and Yusuf Awuye, the FUFA Delegation donated an assortment of items ranging from a football, a plaque for the drum and the treasured Uganda Cranes jersey used at the 2017 Total African Cup of Nations when Uganda returned to the biggest continental sporting fiesta after 39 years.

King Oyo also confirmed his attendance when Toro Kingdom hosts West Nile at the Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.
