Hajjat Sayda Bbumba has been politically buried by her constituents after losing the Nakaseke Central Parliamentary seat.

Hajjat Bbumba- the former Finance Minister lost her seat in last week’s general elections to Allan Mayanja Ssebunya. She has been a legislator for more than 20 years.

Following her downfall, the tired Nakaseke voters over the weekend jubilated by ‘burying’ her political career in a casket.

It should recalled that in August last year, Bbumba told the people of Nakaseke that she was to rule them whether they liked it or not.

“Even if you are tired of me, there are many others who still love me, and by the way, I’m not from Busoga. I was born from Bulemezi, therefore shame on you. I will rule, I will rule, I will rule because where you are chasing me from, it’s my homeland, all my great fathers are born from Bulemezi, therefore I will rule you whether you like it or not,” she said.
