On Tuesday, Anita Fabiola and Miss Tourism Margaret Kankwazi joined tourism junior minister Godfrey Kiwanda on the Eastern leg of the Tulambule campaign.

They were joined by Josephine Nabirye, Miss Earth Uganda and Emily Ayen Miss Karamoja and a host of journalists, social media influencers and as well as stakeholders in the tourism industry.

The weeklong trip, now dubbed #TulambuleNeMagaretKankwanzi.

The first day of the trip, organised by Uganda Tourism Board and Ministry of Tourism saw the beauty queens visit Mabira Forest where they took part in zip lining.

They also treated to the adventurous white water rafting before spending the night at Mbale Resort Hotel.

On Wednesday the team left Mbale for Kapchorwa where they are expected to abseil the Sipi Falls before hitting the road to Kidepo National Park.

Fabiola and Kankwanzi replaced Miss World-Africa Quiin Abenakyo who reportedly fell sick on the eve of the campaign last Sunday.
