The Kabira Football Tournament was officially Launched on Wednesday at Kabira Country Club in Kampala. The event was graced by Sheena Ruparelia, director Ruparelia Group, who promised various rewards to the winners.
FUFA which has recognised this tournament was represented by Easter Musoke the Marketing Head. The games are slated for Sunday 24th June, 2018.
The FUFA Competition Director Ivan Bayige said that they shall be there to make sure that rules are observed as per international standards.
Sheena said that the overall winner shall take a trophy and Shs1,000,000, runners up Shs500,000 and the first runners up Shs350,000.
Twenty teams shall take part in this years tittle all grouped in four groups A,B,C and D with five clubs in each group.
During a press conference at Kabira Country Club on Wednesday, Rainbow International School’s Head Coach, Egesa Robert said they are very optimistic that they will emerge champions for the tourney.
