Police in Kabale district has two suspects for alleged kidnap of a 13 years old girl.
The arrested are Glorious Tibarihire ,55 of Rwabashenda cell ,Kaharo parish and Peace Bwesigye ,60 of Ryamujungu cell,Nyakasharara parish both of Kaharo Sub county Kabale district.
They were arrested on12/06/18 for alleged kidnap of one Shanitah Ampeire, a pupil in Kaharo primary school and resident of Rwabashenyi cell who went missing 11/06/2018 to unknown place.
She allegedly left home for school in the morning but was nowhere to be seen. The guardian one Emmanuel Twebaze the director Vulnerable children for surgery kabale together with the head master Kaharo one Andrew Basesa and security mounted massive hunt and the girl was found in Peace Bwesigye’ s home where she claims was lured away by Glorious.
According to the Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate, Inquiries underway to establish the motive for which they abducted her and will thereafter be arraigned before courts of law and charged accordingly.
This case is registered at kabale police file number CRB 1312/2018.
