Police in Rukiga Dsitrict is investigating circumstances under which an 8 years old boy was knocked dead by a speeding car.
The deceased has been identified as Bryan Nuwahereza a pupil at Kanyeganyege primary school. He was knocked dead on 11/06/18 at around 2pm at Kanyeganyege along Muhanga Kamwezi road by motor vehicle reg no UAU 993H Toyota Corona grey in colour driven by Mr. Ariho.
According to the Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate, Police visited the scene, postmortem done and motor vehicle parked at Muhanga police station pending inspection and to establish likely cause of accident.
This case is registered at Rukiga central police station file number TAR 18/2018.
