Uganda National Drug Authority (NDA) on Thursday directed Wandegeya based Friecca Pharmacy to halt its operations to the public and close its premises after finding out that it had no operating license for year 2018.
According to NDA, any pharmacy operating without a license contravenes with section 14 of the National Drug Policy and Authority Act Chapter 206 of the laws of Uganda.
“We wish to reassure the public that the pharmacy will open as soon as a 2018 license is obtained,” stated NDA.
