A motor accident has this morning occurred at Nakazzi ,Luweero along Kampala Gulu highway weigh bridge and killed an army officer on spot and left other three injured.
Police has identified the dead as Lt. Embogo Benson.
It is said that the Toyota Premio, registration number UAK 514U rammed into a trailer registration number CGO 4028AA07/CG0591AA07. The trailer, according to eye witnesses, was entering the weigh station.
Regional Police Spokesman Paul Kangave has confirmed the accident adding, Abdu Ewada 35, the trailer driver has been arrested to help in investigating the cause of accident while the injured have been rushed to Bombo Military Hospital for first aid and treatment.
