Green Chocolate Festival: Masembe, Sembuya to give kids an unforgettable holiday fest

This year’s Green Festival is going to be an event to remember due to the new enticing listings added on the fest; this time round the young ones who will endeavor to attend the highly anticipated event, will have a free taste on Ugandan made chocolate.

The event which is scheduled to take place on 3rd September,2017, will see so many other activities like Face painting, Bouncing castles, camel rides, ZOO, among others taking place at Kololo Airstrip.

Joseph Masembe, Chief Executive Officer of Little Hands Go Green said, “Kids love Chocolate. It comes from Trees. Cocoa trees. Let’s celebrate in a chocolate kind of way this September at the Green Festival. The lions will also be eating chocolate as the zoo is coming to town. Thanks to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) our partners in conservation. Green Festival 3rd September 2017,”

Further, Stephen Sembuya, the CEO of Pink Foods, the makers of Uganda Chocolate, said children who are attending the green festival will each get cocoa tree and customized chocolate.

Sembuya who promotes cocoa growing in Uganda says his company will be providing 10,000 cocoa seedlings on the day of the festival.

Entrance fee will be 10k for each kid and free for adults.
