“For the next 5 days, we will concentrate on listening to our customers and providing them with a great customer service as at December 2016, our customers satisfaction ratings stood at 89% up from 49% in 2010,” Byarugaba said.

He further said that starting today the employers and employees will receive 4 types of transaction alerts every time a transaction is undertaken and these will include mail alerts to employers, SMS alerts to employees, mail statement and benefits transaction alerts.

“The member transaction alerts will compliment the online whistleblowers platform where employees report defaulting employers, contributors should provide updated contacts to the fund so that they can track their contributions and hold employers accountable.” Byarugaba added.

Meanwhile, NSSF is going to support health facilities with equipments worth SHS 200 million.
