Besigye visits embattled Stella Nyanzi at Kira Police

A section of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) members led by former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye today morning have decided to pay a visit to suspended Makerere University Lecturer Dr. Stella Nyanzi at Kira Divisional Police Headquarters in Wakiso where she is being detained.

“We are at Kira police station today in solidarity with #FreeStellaNyanzi. The Pads4GirlsUg mobile number is 0771824117. We make real change happen when we ACT together,” FDC posted on its Facebook page.

Nyanzi was arrested on Friday night at Mackinnon Suites Hotel in Nakasero over cyber harassment contrary to Section 24 of the Computer Misuse Act of 2011 and Offensive Communication contrary to Section 25 of the same law, according to police.
