The King of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has appreciated Post Bank Uganda for sponsoring the Kabaka Birthday Run which took place yesterday on Sunday.

During the event, the Kabaka commended Post Bank for sponsoring the noble cause and also urged the Bank to continue supporting the event like it has been doing since 2014 it was launched.

On the other hand, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga said Post Bank has supported the birthday run for the last four years and asked the bank to continue with the partnership.

According to Post Bank Uganda Corporate Affairs Manager Jackie Takahanizibwa, the Bank has consistently supported the run that is aimed at supporting different health challenges in Buganda kingdom and Uganda in at large.

“As part of our CSR agenda we have consistently supported the run that is aimed at supporting different health challenges in Buganda Kingdom and Uganda in general,” said Takahanizibwa.

It should be noted that last week Post Bank Uganda contributed shs30 million to support the Kabaka Birthday run cause.

This year’s run is aimed at supporting people suffering from sickle cell but unable to access treatment.
