1,300 graduate at Cavendish University

More than a thousand students have this morning received their graduation level certification from Cavendish University at a colourful ceremony that was boosted with the oldest traditional musical group in Uganda, “Ndere troupe”.

The function took place at  speke resort Munyonyo where students graduated in different areas of specialization at various levels such as certificates, Diploma, Bachelors as well as post graduate.

It is on this function that the Minister in Charge of General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mary Okorooro Okurut commended Cavendish University for helping to fulfill the duties of the republic of Uganda through widening the private education sector.

Okurut urged the graduands to be honest and hard work as their guiding principle.

On this ceremony, 432 graduands were female as 936 were male,all totaling to ,1368 graduands.
