The fourth Edition of the Malengo Hot Pink Fashion Charity Show for persons with disabilities is set to happen this weekend on Saturday, November 16.
Under the theme ” beautiful journeys”, the much anticipated event will be hosted at Victoria Mall Pool Side, Entebbe considered as one of the epitomes towns of happiness in Uganda.
According to Ms. Michelle Omamteker the Chief Executive Officer, Malengo Foundation it will be a unique function because every year that passes, new ideas are incorporated not forgetting the core values of fronting persons with disabilities and inclusiveness since working together is a principle matter of contention.
Some of the models are ; blind, Albinos, deaf, vitiligo, dwarfed , impared with upper or lower limbs to mention but a few.
A string of kampala’s top best designers are lined up to showcase their outfits with the models on the walk ways.
These include; Eguana, Kori House of Couture & Design ( KHCD), Kais Divo Collection, NFK Clothing , Ras Kasozi, Raphael Kabuye, Muyomba among others.
It is also a platform to display some of the art crafts created by the foundation to help and impact persons with disabilities as part of the Sustainable Development Goals( SDGS).
For such a noble cause , tickets go for a paltry amount of UGX 50,000 ( front row ) and second row UGX 20,000.
