‘He who laughs last laughs best’, this is definitely how struggling singer Paul Mutabaazi aka Fresh Daddy is feeling now after media personality Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats got fired from Fame Lounge.
We can’t forget how MC Kats threw Fresh Daddy and his manager Kalifah Aganaga from this Kololo based night hangout, where he used to host the ‘Meet Celebrity Wednesday’.
Fresh Daddy had gone on Kat’s night to premier his ‘Mazike’ song.
In his defence, Kats claimed that Fresh Daddy’s ‘fake’ music couldn’t be played on his night because it was a turnoff to Uganda’s music industry, something that left the 40-year-old new kid on the block chasing.
Possibly God heard his tears at last, as on Monday, Fame Lounge fired Kats from this hangout, alleging that his behavior had become very unbearable.
“Management has tried their best to contain his unbearable behavior for instance the persistent taking of stock on credit and refusal to clear his bill thereafter. To retaliate more, he always belittled management with phrase like ‘I only fear God’,” reads Fame’s notice in part.
Though he treated him badly during their first meeting, Fresh Daddy didn’t look at Kats’ negativity, and that is why he has decided to offer him a job at his newly opened saloon, to cater for his possible financial instabilities.
During the nbs uncut show on Tuesday, Fresh Daddy said that he is ready to come to Kats rescue, provided he brings his ‘papers’ during the job interview.
According to Fame Lounge’s notice, Kats was always paid Shs1.5 million every Wednesday, and we are not sure if Fresh Daddy can handle this much.
MC Kats is yet to respond.
