Musician Ykee Benda says his going to the FIFA 2018 World cup final in Russia is a record in itself considering no other Ugandan artiste was there. He said for him it is a big achievement having been just an ordinary boy in Kireka a few years ago.
Benda says while he did not perform at the final he is still the only Ugandan star that appeared in a world cup theme song for the sponsors coca cola this year and says his contract with them guaranteed he would watch the final which happened even if he did not sing.
He also told off those haters who keep saying he failed to sing at the tournament saying they should appreciate the fact that he held the Uganda flag high in the stadium which was good enough.
