President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will on Tuesday 8th October, 2024 address Muslim Women leaders across Uganda.

The first ever Muslim Women Leaders’ Conference in Uganda will take place at Old Kampala SSS.

The development has been confirmed by the Deputy Press Secretary to His Excellency the President, Haji Faruk Kirunda.

“The President will address the Muslim Women on socio-economic empowerment,” Haji Kirunda said.

Currently, the Uganda Muslim Women Council (UMWC) under the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) is being led by Hajat Sofia Kenyangi Safina.
