By Gabriel Buule

What is Offensive Communication Really? Some Ugandans are biologically vulgar that even their names sound like STD’s. I remember way back in 2005 when i mentioned a name of a fallen Member of Parliament Mbale HON. (Kamana) Wesonga Only for my elders to terribly hit mbu i had said obscene words.

Yes! They were right, blame it on their obscene brains..But however much (Kamana) loosely means women’s privates to some individuals in a particular culture, It happens to be a name in Mbale.

This reminds me of my University alumni Beryl (Mabwa) who we used to laugh at because her name meant a wound in Luganda not until when she laughed back at me saying in her culture Buule (My name ) means Pupu…..

Sadly, we are still in a society where authorities consider handling extra-micro issues other than things that will move us forward.

The Fuel and energy wasted on stalking Stella Nyanzi hacking into her social media would be diverted into meeting public demands like those Pupu like roads designed with pot-holes and empowering families with sounding start-up programmes instead of the silly youth Fund which doesn’t even exist.

I am not prophesying doom but i would like to inform whoever is concerned that government is dealing with people who have signed out their lives years ago.

In my home village i know of a man who once cried not to be released from Mpigi Prison and the reason he gave, he was getting free food.

Yes! i don’t subscribe to loose language but i don’t care for the fact that even the flowery language politicians use, neither pay school fees for my daughter nor pays my single room in Bunga .

Unfortunately, it is only one Stella speaking out. But the many quiet Stella’s are deeply vulgar that even when you our leaders dress in those winner classic suits they see naked thieves with cowardice faces waiting to arrest them and see them die in prisons.

Why don’t we change the words in the vulgarity lexicon which doesn’t exist? Can’t we add words like LYING TO UGANDANS, CORRUPTION, MURDER, VOTE RIGGING ,EXTORTION… instead of innocent private parts which most of you crave .

We need jobs, good roads, better health services , improved transport systems not your biblical allegory like speeches that predicts the future as if you will stay for a zillion years.

I am not inviting you to put me on coolers so that i can enjoy the free (bad) food in prisons because at least i can still afford a meal but am speaking for my neighbours children in Mpigi who cannot afford a food flask or transport without Boda Boda’s .

I am an innocent young man and son of a peasant farmer battling pressure and diabetes but he can hardly afford buying tablets which don’t exist in Mpigi government health centre.

Am speaking for my daughter Audrian who in the next three years will be going into her Menstruation periods with no guarantee that her father who has a silly paying Job will be able to afford Pads.

The Question is .. what determines Vulgarity, Obscenity or Pornography?!! What if someone complains that so and so was vulgar and said my thing is tiny and the later asks you to undress so that he/she can prove to you?

What is the role of Church leader and families????… Maybe they are enjoying tithe and some parading miracles while customising car-plates .

We need services not Excuses
