A total of 75 police officers across the country have completed a 3 weeks course in collection and preservation of forensic evidence in sexual gender based Violence related cases.
The officers were drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Child and Family Protection Department, scenes of crime officers, Medical services among others.
The five days training for officers from the Kampala Metropolitan Policing area was concluded yesterday at the Directorate of forensic Services headquarters Naguru.
Included in this training were officers from the districts of Soroti and Kyenjojo.
