Uganda’s finest music export Eddy Kenzo has received flak for claiming that he’d like to meet his ex’s new catch Dr. Hamza Sebunya for a handshake.

Kenzo and Rema Namakula lived together for five years before she eventually called it quits for her gynecologist. The two are set to get married in a traditional ceremony on Thursday, November 14 in Nabingo.

Kenzo and Rema’s union yielded a daughter, Aamal Musuuza.

But before Rema introduce’s Sebunya, the president of the Love Nigga Association has one request: To meet the man who broke his happy home so that he can officially hand over all responsibilities to him. He also wants to tell the good’ol doctor to take good care of his five year old daughter.

I would love to meet Dr. Hamza Sebunya for a handshake and I officially handover all the responsibities to him because he took both my wife and my daughter,” he said during an interview with NBS TV recently.

But online in laws have come out to criticize him, with some claiming she is not an office to just hand over while others advise that he should let the new lovers be.

Here are some comments

Urban Cruz: Is he a brother to rema?? I hear handover, is she an office??

Valentine Steven: mama ahaaaa hand over, peacefully or with some jealousBottom of Form

Michael Ariko: Kenzo must have been hit the hardest with Rema’s departure from his life. Let him learn to cope and stay positive. Accept the reality that she is gone whether he hands her to him or not, she is gone. He is still young and there could be a permanent replacement for Rema.

Glo Ria Munduru: Has he ever owned her officially be it traditionally, religiously or lawfully despite having a daughter with her.

Ngabire Sylvie: Excuse me. l hear Handover. Eddy Kenzo is not a Brother to Rema nor the Uncle instead is the Ex whereby l expect Kenzo to appreciate Dr. Hamza for giving Rema all Emotional Happiness which Kenzo failed to fulfill meaning he was Empty Emotionally and it’s not too late to change for sameone else.

James Akol: This is why I will not leave this country!,,, even with empty stomach! u can smile and laugh, Oba to handover what exactly

Magezi Chris: I really don’t know what he is going to hand over…..?????!!!! He should only meet Rema in person to wish her a happy marriage

Flora Kehem Ayari: Rema is not his daughter so he cant hand her that’s the work of her parents. Kenzo you only know your lover when you let her go…

Muyigi Daniel: I hear Mbu to hand over Rema officially, is Kenzo a brother to Rema, tulekemu nawe. Kenzo should just accept that kasukali keko

 He however had some supporters

Walter Eemu: Let them, give him back his daughter and see if he will ever talk about Rema again, it pains to see your kid call some man Dad when you are still breathing

Maama Duke Kelsie Marianthonate: It’s right coz his daughter is going to be raised by this Hamza guy so a few rules and regulations in regards his daughter

Ronald Ainebyoona: I really understand what you are going through my brother Kenzo. One thing I want to assure you is that “if the best is not available, then what is available becomes the best for you” stay strong my brother and let her go

Mutebi Nicholas Ug: Yes it’s good. He should meet him to met his musanggi such that he learns from him on how to handle beautiful souls like Rema.

Joseph Kiyingi Bogere: I felt Mr. Kenzo should take this matter to his mind first before he takes it to the heart. Most often human beings act out of feelings instead of thinking of their values.

Jackson Ostrich Osire Aupasiaobe: What I know is Rema will one time get back with Kenzo. This Kenzo boy is doing underground work to get his piece back

Guma Abdallah Ali Yussuf: Kenzo please! You are a responsible man, apply for parental custody of your daughter and forget Rema otherwise, you shall run mad because of that woman. And besides all, you need imminent help from a psychiatrist. Keep away from the eyes of the media for some good time.
