Eddy Kenzo hs finally broken down after months of acting strong or should we say uninterested.
Kenzo, born Edrisa Musuuza seems he is not ready to stay in Uganda to witness his ex-lover Rema Namakula get married to another man on Thursday, November 14.
On this particular day, we expect the internet to be broken by photos of Namakula, as she introduces her new lover Hamza Sebunya.
Lest we forget, the Kenzo and Rema cohabited for five years before the Sili Muyembe songbird dumped probably Uganda’s finest music export a couple of months ago.
Given the social media pressure expected that day, Kenzo has decided to ‘run’ from the country to Dubai. He also requested God to strengthen the hearts of those who have been driven out of their homes.
“Almighty, grant victory to the oppressed wherever they are. Those who have been driven out of their homes or wronged in any way. Grant ease to those who are struggling. Strengthen the weak and downtrodden. You know best who they are and where they are! Every one of them Amen. Off to Dubai,” Kenzo noted.
This is not the first time Kenzo is doing something of a kind, as he also took off to United States of America ahead of Namakula’s Kukyala ceremony.
The ‘Semyekozo’ singer stayed in the States for over two months.
However, he had earlier promised to attend his baby mama’s introduction ceremony if given an invitation.
“If I am invited to Rema Namakula’s introduction ceremony in good faith, I will go and support my life friend Namakula as I know it is a ‘gown’ she has always wanted. No-one knows Rema like I do. I have spent five years with her, eating and sleeping together,” he said.
But maybe the pressure had became too much for him and decided to take off.
