Police in Dokolo have arrested three suspects in connection to theft of government drugs and kits.
Its alleged that on the September 15, 2019 at Dokolo District Medical stores, three suspects were arrested red-handed with government drugs.
According to North Kyoga Police Spokesperson ASP David Ongom, the suspects were netted with with 97 Boxes of Malaria testing kits, 12 Boxes of Malaria drugs Artemether, one big box of Artesunate.
The suspects are, Okello Joel aged 51 years, Office Attendant at Dokolo District headquarters, Eneru Francis 31 years, peasant and Okello Ronald, 32 years, Cold Chain Assistant at the Hospital.
“The suspects are currently being held at CPS Dokolo charged with theft of government stores to wit drugs vide CRB 459/2019. Drugs were exhibited as inquiries continue,” said Ongom.
