The Rukiga Member Of Parliament Herbert Kabafunzaki has asked parents to complement the efforts of teachers to inculcate discipline into their children to achieve ultimate success.

Kabafunzaki made this request on Saturday while speaking as a guest of honor at MTC High School day celebrations in Rukiga district.

“Parents have abdicated their parental roles and responsibilities while others have failed to provide a conducive environment to their children. This has pushed them into the streets,” Kabafunzaki said, before blaming the current spate of acts of indiscipline in educational institutions on the inability of parents to inculcate in their wards acceptable societal values.
