Moses Ssali, better known as ‘Bebe Cool’ has called upon Ugandans to reject musicians who are standing for political office.

Bebe Cool, a renown supporter of President Museveni and his ruling party, was speaking on Spark TV’s Koona ne Miles Rwamiti.

He said there are three categories of musicians who have joined politics: those who insult others, the drug abusers and uneducated.

Bebe Cool explained that musicians don’t know anything about politics and the running of public affairs.

A number of musicians have shown interest in running for political offices in 2020/21 general elections. Among them is Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, who has said he will stand for presidency in 2020/21. Others are Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleon who wants the Kampala Lord mayor seat, there is Geoffrey Lutaya, Dr Hilderman, Abbey Mukiibi, Ronald Mayinja, Patroliko Mujuuka, among others.

Bebe said that he wishes all musicians failed in their bids.

“Our voters should teach them a lesson by not giving them votes,” Bebe told the Friday night Spark TV show.
