450 scholarships up for grabs at Makerere University

Mastercard Foundation is offering 450 scholarships for undergraduate students to study at Makerere University for the academic year 2019-2020.

The scholarships are being rolled out under the Mastercard Foundation program.

According to Bernard Buteera, the program Communication and Web Officer, they are targeting students who sat their A’ level in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

“Female applicants should have obtained 11 points and above, while the males should have obtained 15 points and above,” he said.

“The Application process will start in February 2019. We shall give you more details in the coming month.”
