Police in Kabale district is investigating sudden death of a 26-year-old teacher.
The deceased, Ivan Agaba was a teacher at Butuza Primary School in Isingiro cell, Kyasano parish Kamuganguzi subcounty, Kabale district.
He was on Thursday morning discovered lying dead on the floor of his room at the school.
It’s alleged that The deceased was the weekly teacher on duty and when he delayed to report on duty, they sent a pupil to check on him, only to be found dead.
The school head teacher, Mr January Ivan immediately reported the death to Katuna police station who visited the scene.
He was half naked in short trousers with vomit around him and had littered the bed with faeces.
The head teacher said he was with the deceased the previous evening taking bushera and he looked fine.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson confirmed the news and said postmortem is being done to determine the rightful cause of his death.
This case has been registered at Katuna police station SD 06/15/11/2018.
