MP Rwakimaari lauds former RDC for being a devoted servant

Ntungamo district woman MP Beatrice Rwakimaari has commended the outgoing acting RDC Ntungamo Justine Mbabazi for being loyal, dedicated and devoted leader who served well.

Mbabazi has been RDC for the last seven years, and according to Rwakimaari she was a good committed, honest, faithful and unifying factor in the politics of Ntungamo District. She has been posted to Kasangati as deputy RDC.

Rwakimaari made remarks  while officiating at  Mbabazi’s farewell party . The same event was also used to welcome the new RDC George Bakunda and his deputy Isaiah  Kanyamahane.

Hon Rwakimaari urged Bakunda and his deputy to exhibit the high level of stewardship like Mbabazi if they are to success.

The district chairperson Denis Singahache, hailed Mbabazi for being cooperative and implementing government programmes in order to extend service delivery.

The  chief administrative officer Ntungamo district, Kweyamba Ruhemba lauded Mbabazi for serving the people of Ntungamo district with courage, zeal and above self regardless of any profit appealing to her predecessors to follow the suit.

In her emotional speech, Mbabazi applauded the people of Ntungamo district for being supportive in mobilizing for NRM government during general elections noting that the NRM is still strong in the district.

Mbabazi thanked the leadership of the district and municipal council for being tolerant and cooperative which enabled her to serve them diligently.

She tasked her predecessors to continue with effective service delivery, transparency and accountability as one of the principles of NRM government.

The incoming RDC Ntungamo George Bakunda thanked the Mbabazi for the tremendous work done in changing the district to a stable and model district.

Bakunda and his deputy Kanyamahane Isaiah pledged to serve the people of Ntungamo district based on truth as the only tool to succeed.

He promised to empower local council courts to promote justice and electorate to respect their leaders.

Other speakers included Mayor Jacob Kafureeka, Dr. Nicholas Karuhanga of Doctor’s Referral Hospital Rubaare, Edward Beyendeza Bekunda and Muhumuza Denis as a close friend to RDC Justine Mbabazi.

The climax of the function was slicing of the cake and handing over gifts to Mbabazi wishing her safe journey to Kasangati in Wakiso district.
