The Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) has confirmed a total of 26 universities that will participate in the 2018 Inter University Beach Soccer championship.
According to the document hat was released by the competitions Secretary, Phoebe Kutamba, the championship shall commence on Saturday, October 27 to Sunday 28.
Kutamba highlighted that they are going to be strict with the beach rules inspite of the fact that there are new comers to the game.
“We have new comers like Kyambogo University that have not been part of this sport. We welcome them but I must tell them that they have to come knowing the rules as FIFA states them,” noted Kutamba
Kickoff is stated to be 11:00 am with the defending champion St Lawrence against a team that will be drawn on that day.
Defending Champion : St. Lawrence University.
