Three people have been arrested and charged with illegal logging and criminal negligence in the northern district.
They are; Ayebale Bright, Ojok Charles and Ashaba Hellen who have been charge with illegal dealing in logging and criminal negligence by the driver who is still at large.
Their arrest follow an incident in which one person identified as Ivan Bongomin aged 26 was hit by a log during loading process from the same area above in Pailyec parish in Amuru Sub County yesterday.
The scene has been visited by team of officers from Amuru Main Station and body of body recovered and taken to Gulu Main Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Sadly however, the community became riotous and burnt the crane vehicle Reg No UAS 320Y which was loading there logs.
Case has been registered under SD 08/04/09/2018 at Amuru Main Station.
