The Kabale Catholic Diocese’s Rt Rev Bishop Callist Rubaramira on Sunday ordained Rev fr Kyomukama ambrose to priesthood and Rev Benedicto Mubangizi was also ordained a deacon.
Bishop Rubaramira has so far ordained 4 other priests this year through kabale diocese that comprises of districts of Kisoro, Kanungu, Rukungiri, Kabale, Rubanda and Rukiga.
Rubaramira told the ordained candidates to stay royal to their Bishops (superiors), to keep focused to God through living prayerful lives and keeping their commitments.
Three other Reverend seminarians were anointed to the stage of “Serious candidates” – a position that would qualify them to be ordained deacons come next year.
The newly ordained Reverend father is from a religious congregation of the Spiritans. The ordination function attracted a very big number of people, from all over kabale diocese including priests and other religious leaders.

Rev fr Kyomukama said in a statement on Sunday that he was thankful to God the almighty for anabling him to reach his the.
Kyomukama, who’s in his 30s has been studying for over 10 years since high school to achieve his dream.
Growing concerns at the diocese.
Bishop Rubaramira, who was concentrated a Bishop in 2003 has served as the longest Bishop kabale diocese has had so far.
He said that the diocese pays 1.5 Uganda shillings as tuition for every major seminarian, something that the Bishop called difficult for the diocese.
Rubaramira called for all the faithful who would wish to help the diocese – to pay for the seminarians’ tuition to do it voluntarily. He thanked those who have done that before.

Hon Catherine Ndamira, the Kabale District woman MP graced the occasion, including other legislators – Hon Mary Paula Turyahikayo (Rubabo County), Hon Rose Kabagyenyi (Kisoro woman MP), Hon prossy Akampurira (Rubanda woman MP).
The Kabale District Chairperson Patrick Besigye Keihwa also graced the occasion. Kabale diocese covers the whole of Kigezi subregion, South western Uganda.
