Police in kisoro district is investigating a murder case reference number SD 03/2/7/2018 of Nyakinama sub county police.
It’s alleged that on Sunday 01/7/2018 at about 10pm at Buhayo village Mbuga parish, Nyakinama sub county kisoro district , one Habarurema Benard, male 45 years old, mufumbira by tribe,, a resident of Buhaya village was hit by unknown people, later rushed to St Francis Mutolere hospital by his relatives where he was pronounced dead.
According to the Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly maate, the crime Scene was visited by police and the following were arrested With the help of canine.
1-Nikoze Godfrey, male, 38and is a business man.
2-Mugisha Alfred male 24years peasant of Buhayo.
3-Hakizimana Silas male aged 38 years, a hawker of Bugwene village mbuga parish.
Elly maate says that Inquiries are at hand and the cause of the murder is not yet known.
It’s said that the deceased was murdered on his way from from the bar.
