Phaneroo’s Apostle Grace Lubega talks about the different between resurrection and Easter

Last time we looked at Palm Sunday and what it means and today we are looking at the Easter Sunday or resurrection Sunday.

Why do the dates of Easter keep changing? Before we answer this check this story out:

There was a group of people in the past called the Nicene Fathers who were believers who were raised with a very prophetic spirit and many of these men as the gift kept on growing they exchanged Truth for human wisdom because of the anointing upon their lives for the anointing is power but some of these men were abused and therefore they lost the patterns because their leaders did not use their offices well. That’s why today we have people in church who are not submitted and are not willing to be planted

Ps 92:13-15

13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

 KJV

The anointing in your life is due to you being planted and if you are not planted you will frustrate that anointing and that’s the meaning of that word FAT in the verse above.

So in the history there was a wonderful group who were not exegeses they were not debaters because they never doubted scriptures. They wanted to establish what kind of Christianity they had to pass on to the coming generations. For instance there are things in the church that are today but were not so in the olden day church. For example debates about same sex marriages. We do not Condon this in church but even those men who do know in their hearts that it’s wrong however, we love those people and want or desire them to change. Ministers minister who they feel not how they think.

Acts 20:26

6 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

KJV

Paul revealed the whole counsel so he spoke out of love and maturity. We hate the sin and not the sinner and we believe that The LORD delivers. Small compromises are very costly and can lead the church in danger e.g.

In British History, in about the 5th C a group of immigrants came from German and they were a mixture of them from Anglo and Britannia and partly also Britain had war men who were very dependable and were fighting the Roman Empire. The Britons invited them in-fact The Queen is German Blood. So these come in to Britain and came with certain gods but the Roman Empire had influence upon the entire world it was BIG. That’s why up to today wars have never ceased around the Ottoman Empire current day Turkey which is 90 percent Muslim. This was a very key are and that’s where Constantinople was. During that time The Anglo and Suction were responsible for the development of the English language that we speak today.

Acts 12:4

4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

KJV

In the KJV Easter is only written in this verse in The Bible.

The translators like Tyndale were among the Anglo people who translated the bible and he was killed because certain things were never allowed to be translated a certain way. Easter is not a Christian word but a pagan word for a goddess of fertility under the Anglo suction and rabbits and eggs were the representation of this Easter and that’s why we have Easter eggs and bunnies and up today Easter the story is still celebrated under the mind of the pagan mind. And this period happened in the same time the Passover and resurrection happened. So William Tyndale knew and tried to compromise. These people knew there was a problem with this whole setting because these were powerful people who influenced the world by then and have overridden the actual Passover and today people have no idea and they carry on a tradition they know not where it came from and they show things of Easter on Christian TV but this is meant to be a resurrection Sunday not Easter.

In Ad 365 it was the first seating of the Nicene fathers who wanted to interpret the things in the Christian circles and they wanted to develop them to come through that time on how the church ought to be governed. This is the same time Constantine was emperor and they wanted to respect the universality of belief so they came up with the Catholic Church.

Unity of the faith comes when we all ascribe to the One and Only True Christ. Jesus once said this many shall come in His Name. But we cannot compromise on this. The unity of the faith will happen when God brings people together who believe the same and that’s why we have the five fold ministry

Eph 4:13-14

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

 KJV

Even the word Christian was a named not conferred to the church but pagans who coined it as they observed the ways of the believers to mean that they were like Christ.

Back to the fathers….

They wanted to discuss these issues so the doctrines of Roman Catholicism say that Pope (meaning Bishop) is the only representation of the Christ. So they crowned Peter as the first Bishop and one debated issue is The Resurrection Sunday but some wanted to follow the Jewish calendar that every 14th day they had to celebrate the resurrection and all agreed to follow this setting but there was another group from Rome and another group from the west who wanted to celebrate a week for the resurrection who followed the Gregorian calendar.

Whether, a day or a week that was debatable but that didn’t take away the fact that Jesus died and rose again but Ester came many years after and wanted to change the flow of things because her star was shining bright. How far your star shines is how much you will influence the world. But there is a biblical teaching on how your star can shine bright.

So whether its days or many days you can choose how you want to celebrate it but never call it Easter again. Those fathers are responsible for many creeds like he apostolic creeds and all the were from the Catholic Church and some from the Roman Catholic Church and some of them compromised them.

Here is a wonderful account of this resurrection day of our LORD

John 20:1-2

20 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

KJV

Joh claimed how much God loved him and you also should learn how to do this as well. Always boost of how much He loves you and never compare yourself with another man.

John 20:3-9

3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, which he must rise again from the dead.

KJV

Many people did not know this but it was written and prophesied upon but they were not aware. They never knew that The Man had told them that these things shall happen even as He had foretold the.

John 20:11-18

11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

 KJV

There is a reason why Jesus appeared to her as a gardener but when she talked to Him at first she never knew Him but He called her the second time a certain way and she knew Him so it’s how He talks to you it’s how He touches you and it’s how He called you and that’s the essence of resurrection. There are many Muslims who have seen Jesus in The Arabians and I stand to tell you that Jesus is more alive and real than the pages you read. He is not a fictional story but He is Life. Any man who does not doubt the Christ then Jesus appears to that man in a special way for His voice comes with power and it comes with glory.

And like God called Mary to hear Him, may He open your ears to hear Him the same.
