Umeme, a leading electricity distribution company in Uganda is looking for a Digital Communications Officer and a Communications Officer.
After a successful recruitment, both employees will be reporting directly to the Stakeholder Relations Manager (Media and Communincation).
The Digital Communications Officer is expected to develop photographic and Videography media content for the business media platforms including print, electronic and digital, copy and script write media messages for both internal and external consumption to strengthen the brand.
He or she is required to have a Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or related field with at least three years of working experience.
On the other hand, the Communications Officer is expected to implement public and media relations activities of Umeme including preparing media articles, press releases, features and research topical news and social media items for publications to positively portray the company’s image and reputation.
He or she is required to have a Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or related field with at least three years experience working as a PR and relations officer.
