President Gen. Y.K. Museveni has today presided over the pass out ceremony of 129 officers among whom 32 are Police Officers that have been undergoing a Senior Political Education and Leadership Development Course (PLEDC) at National leadership Institute, Kyankwanzi.
The officers underwent a two ( 2) and half months training at the Leadership Institute. The course is to prepare officers for a more challenging and enduring work ahead of them.
The course component included leadership skills, marksmanship, Organization management, mentorship, Political Education and history of Uganda.
The course was attended by officers from Uganda police Force; UPDF and Uganda Prison Service.
SP Otoro Japheth from Uganda Police emerged the overall best performer.
