NRM secretary general Justine Kasule Lumumba is rumoured to be very ill, and was flown abroad for treatment.
Lumumba has been away from the political scene for some time, and her duties have been fully taken over by her deputy Richard Todwong who has since swung into action to prepare his party for the removal of Age limit removal promotion.
The party is silent on the reasons for Lumumba’s hospitalization and people are only willing off record on the matter.
However this website understands that Lumumba was flown to Thailand for treatment of a disease we are not authorized to reveal here for now.
Anyone who wants Lumumba for any official duties, has been effectively referred to Mr Todwong.
Todwong is already working hard to show his bosses that it was the unpopular Lumumba who was slowing down work at the NRM Secretariat.
Last week Watchdog Uganda visited the NRM secretariat on Lumumba Avenue in Nakasero and several meetings which last sat during the presidential elections, were taking place.
