he Police in Kanungu have today 8/11/2017 arrested a nurse for being in possession of Government hospital equipment illegally.
Heph Mutisa Kwesiga 58, a senior nursing officer and midwife at Kanungu Health Center IV was arrested when a whistleblower tipped off police that she had in possession government equipment illegally.
After searching the suspect’s home, she was found in possession of various medical equipment and medicine to which she could not ably account for among which included cefraxion, oxticin, kits of digital BP machines, surgical gloves, thermal hygrometer and kidney dish among others.
The Regional Police Spokesperson IP Mate Elly has confirmed the arrest adding that the case has been registered vide KNG CRB 1088/2017.
