Senior presidential advisor on media issues Joseph Tamale Mirundi has said youth minister Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi is being used by mafias to fight Pius Bigirimana the permanent secretary, ministry of gender labour and social Development and Hajjat Janat Mukwaya, the Minister of Gender, Labour and Social  Development.

While appearing on NBS TV’s one on one with Tamale Mirundi on Tuesday, Mirundi stated that Ugandan mafias are not tribal; they use anyone whom they see has the capability to work for them.

“Mafias quickly recognize a capable person during the vetting process. After targeting, they capture you on assertions that they are the ones who have given you the job so from there you become their hunting dog and that is exactly what happened to Nakiwala Kiyingi,” revealed Mirundi.

He asserted that mafias are fighting Bigirimana and Mukwaya through Nakiwala because both veteran politicians have successful stories as far as executing their duties is concerned.

Mirundi further said that the youth minister cannot properly work with the two people because she has some forces which are giving her parallel orders.
