Kayihura meets field police officers, applauds them for safeguarding security during by-elections

Police Chief Gen. Kale Kayihura meets Police Field Force Unit (FFU) all over Uganda.

In a rectification baraza, Gen. Kale thanked the paramilitary team for working tirelessly in the concluded By-Elections allover the country, and for the efforts in securing other areas in Uganda.

A number of concerns were raised by the officers regarding the challenges faced during their operations that were addressed by the IGP. He promised to focus on the welfare of the FFU.

The same meeting saw the birth of a special team of 1500 officers specially designed to handle any riotous situations in Kampala Metropolitan Area.
