Police has come out to clarify on the chaos that marred at NRM office at Kasangati Resort Centre where a section of voters raided the office premises accusing NRM of keeping pre-ticked ballot papers with an aim of rigging votes in favour of their candidate Sebalu Sitenda.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima, NRM members have set up Kasangati Resort Centre as a private tally centre.

“It is not true that there are pre-ticked ballot papers inside Kasangati,” Mwesigwa refuted.
