Top Police shakeup sees over 70 top bosses moved, appointed

IGP Gen Kale Kayihura has moved top police bosses in a reshuffle that has seen over 70 movements. After the death of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, President Museveni told Gen Kayihura to clean his house since he had received reports that criminals had infiltrated it.

Gen Kayihura has been since then, burning midnight oil, combing his command list, identifying high risk areas to beef up his security. Among commanders shifted include the RPC and DPC of Masaka region where there has been several complaints of unknown thugs terrorizing residents there.
