Dr Stella Nyanzi has been denied access to visitors even as other inmates were receiving their own on Wednesday.

Among visitors were her children who came to check on their mom at her home for the past couple of days in Luzira.

Prison authorities said Nyanzi had no permission to see any visitors.

Stella was remanded for two weeks for insulting the person of the president.

The Makerere academic castigated the president for reneging on his promise to provide sanitary towels to girls in schools as part of universal education program.
