The body of Police Spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi has been taken to the City Mortuary as investigations continue to hunt for his killers and motives.
The assassination of AIGP Kaweesi together with his bodyguard and driver has left many Ugandans in utter shock.
Revelations so far reveal that Kaweesi who was leaving his home in Kulambiro, a Kampala suburb, was shot at thrice.
Watchdog has been told that the police spokesman’s body has several gun wounds. However, the bullets were shot through the back to the chest and one though the head and it went throw the neck. The killers ensured the leave him no chance to survive.
Experts say the shooters must be highly trained assassins.
Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda has assured the country of safety in his address to Parliament on Friday morning.
