NRM Central Executive Committee ( CEC) has just concluded the work of vetting NRM EALA aspirants and it has referred all the 43 East African Legislative Council to caucus for voting.
The caucus of Parliament will decide on Tuesday.
Serious candidates include Mary R. Mugyenyi, Sarah Kagingo, Matthias Kasamba among others.
Meanwhile all the 43 contestants are competing for six slots which are allocated to NRM as a ruling party, opposition has two whereas independent only one slot is allocated.
