If you see Dembe FM’s DJ Jacob Omutuuze in any compromising situation these days, well don’t get surprised because he has already served us a warning.
Last week, a stimulus package of Shs6.5 billion was reportedly given to the entertainment industry, especially promoters to help them cover for the losses incurred during Covid-19 induced lockdown that was announced by the government last year in March.
But as usual ‘mafias’ got involved in this money distribution and many promoters who incurred losses received nothing.
One of the affected promoters was Jacob Omutuuze who claimed through Facebook on Sunday that he had injected over Shs100m to promote Spark TV’s Mega Fest which was to happen on Easter Monday, but he was not considered when this stimulus package came.
However, he promised not to remain silent about this matter as he threatened to do something stupid in one of these days if he doesn’t receive his share.
“I was the promoter behind #SparkTv MegaFest and I injected more than Shs100m in it so that it can happen. If you see me doing stupid things now days bambi don’t be surprised because you don’t know how it feels when someone is getting money through your sweat,” Jacob said on Sunday.
